spherical sector
The solid generated by rotating a sector of a circle about the diameter that bisects the sector. Moving a radius along a circle on the surface of a sphere can also form a spherical sector. It normally consists of a spherical segment and a right circular cone. When a semicircle is rotated or a radius moves along a great circle, the resulting spherical sectors become hemispheres.
