solution of triangles
The process of calculating the unknown sides and angles of a triangle based on trigonometry knowledge about the relationships of the three angles and three sides.

Because the sum of three interior angles in a triangle is always 180°, the third angle can be calculated if two angles are known. Law of sines and law of cosines can be used to calculate either angles or sides when enough information is given.
