arctan (arc tangent)
The inverse of the tangent function. Also written arc-tangent, atan, or tan-1. The value of the arctan function of any argument is an angle in radians whose tangent function equals the given argument, that is, y = tan-1x if and only if x = tan(y) for -symbol PI/2 < y < symbol PI/2.
