arcsin (arc sine)
The inverse of the sine function. Also written sin-1. The value of the arcsin function of any argument is an angle in radians whose sine function equals the given argument, that is, y = sin-1x if and only if x = sin(y) for -symbol PI/2 < y < symbol PI/2.
