addition (of vectors)
The process of combining two or more vectors into one equivalent vector, represented by the symbol +.

Two vectors are added by placing the tail of the second vector to the head of the first vector. The sum of these two vectors is obtained by connecting the tail of the first vector to the head of the second vector.

When adding more than two vectors, always place the tail of the next vector at the head of the current vector. Then, construct the resultant vector by connecting the tail of the first vector to the head of the last vector.
